Today I saw the recipe for a super simple, whole food and clean jam recipe from Mommypotomus. It is DELISH! I had leftover berry and watermelon fruit salad, some strawberries & lemons that needed to be eaten as well as rhubarb from my garden, so I thought – let’s give this a whirl and see what happens! I threw it all together, cooked it on low for a while and had my daughter help me with the sweetness & mashed the berries. I added a little sweetener & lemon zest and had the most delicious peanut butter and jelly sandwich for lunch! You must try it – it is a super easy way to add chia seeds to your diet, which means more protein and fiber! Another good tip – instead of lemon juice, add 1-2 drops of Young Living Lemon essential oil! Experiment and enjoy!
