Giving it a go again!

It’s time again to focus on ME! Today marks the beginning of a new wellness chapter – I am playing with an Ayurvedic cookbook I received Christmas 2020 and am focused on my overall wellness. I have created the spice blends for many of the recipes so I am ready to test them out! My focus on my meals is to make easily digestible foods and dishes to give my digestive system a rest. I have also begun to add turmeric and black pepper (the pepper helps activate the turmeric) to my morning coffee and many of my dishes for an added wellness boost and to decrease inflammation within my body. While I often find the time and energy to begin my wellness routines during my summers off (since I work within a school district), my focus this time around is consistency in building wellness habits. I know this journey is not a one size fits all type of journey; everyone needs to determine what works for their body.
